Ocean Walk Condominium is a South Island complex comprised of 232 units.  There are 4 different floor plans. one, two, and three bedroom garden units and two and three bedroom townhomes, 21 buildings in all on 16 beautiful acres.

Ocean Walk History

Ocean Walk Condominiums were originally called Heron Lake Apartments after construction between 1975 and 1976.  Later it was known as Windsong Apartments in the mid 1980's.  The complex was converted to Condominiums in 1998 and the complex was renamed to Ocean Walk.

Ocean Walk has undergone many changes since construction in the 70's and is one of the best complexes on the island.  There are many great investment properties on the south end of St. Simons but none with the green space or amenities that Ocean Walk has to offer. 

A walking path and bulkhead were added to the lake area in 2009 making that area a wonderful place to sit and relax or fish.

Every building has been reroofed within the last 5 years.  The townhomes were originally flat roofed buildings that were raised and reframed to make the buildings more attractive and easier to maintain.  It was a big project that was well worth the expense.  On the 13 buildings with pitched roofs a balcony roof was added in 2017 to add protection to the porches and improve that outdoor living space.

In 2019 we rebuilt our tennis courts to improve drainage and to make sure the facility is in tip top shape.
